New Picture of Emily

The Tourists are here...

which normally doesn't bother me. However, I live right on the corner of a busy road and we have traffic backed up for miles!

I have lived here (in this house) for 5 years. I have yet to figure out where they all stay! We have campgrounds, etc. but no hotels.

Go figure. {{sigh}}

When they are here, it takes me 25 minutes to get to my parents house and that normally takes only 10.

It will be like this on weekends through Labor Day.

Oh well...I guess it is good because it means summer is here.

Rain Rain Go Away

Still raining. Still cold. 54 degrees today.

Yeah, it's June.

I want summer already!

Rainy Day

I should say rainy weekend. The kids are wild because they couldn't go out. Then they have all this excess energy and don't sleep. The boys were up for pretty much most of the night. I swear they were in their cribs and planned this little game of "when I finally go back to sleep, you get up and wake up Mommy. You know, she had 15 minutes of uninterrupted sleep. That's plenty."

As soon as one when back to sleep the other got up. And bless her heart, Emily slept right through until 7:00. Thankfully Dave got up with her.

Cross your fingers tonight goes better. But...it doesn't matter as much...it is Dave's night. :)
